About Ioana

Ioana Macovei (Gelip) is working as a fraud researcher in Ireland for over 6 years. She is also studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity at the University of Sunderland in the UK. Ioana's qualifications include a BSc in IT Management from the Technological University in Dublin, Ireland (2022) and a BA in Psychology from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, Romania (2018). She also obtained a Java Programming Diploma at IBAT College Dublin, an MTA in Python (2022) and an AWS Cloud Practitioner certificate (2022). Ioana is an accredited FIDE Chess Instructor. She is a self-employed chess teacher, delivering chess lessons online and for the Irish Chess Union. Ioana was the Irish Women's Chess Champion for 2017, 2018 & 2019.
